USB LAPTOP SPEAKER

A few weeks back, we first featured JLab Audio’s GO MP3 Player and it was a good product overall. It did what it was supposed to at an alright cost. This time around, JLab Audio once again returns with a product that’s not as far off as their waterproof player but is still as valuable based on its intended operation. For those that bring laptops and netbooks around all the time, it is common knowledge that speakers of these gadgets are not of the best kind, as they’re clearly meant for personal use and manufacturers assume that headphones would be more practical. But for those situations that laptop audio is a necessity and the built-in speakers suck, then JLab Audio has something in their sleeve to offer. Today’s review will focus on JLab Audio’s B-FLEX X-Bass USB Laptop Speakers

HTC Sensation XE

This phone is so brand spanking new that it was announced just a day before we first held it in our palms. It adheres to the sensational HTC Sensation's template, but with the addition of ear-pleasing Beats Audio processing and a few spec upgrades. You needn't be an audiophile to enjoy the new profile, but you will need a set of Beats Audio headphones. Thankfully, a pair come with the device. In our tests so far, we've noticed a real difference, with the tinny edge of HTC's sound enhancer diminished, the crispness of sounds augmented and the only potential grounds for minor quibbles being the ear canal-shaking levels of bass. The good news continues elsewhere, with a 1730mAh battery that should have more staying power than the original Sensation, a 1.5GHz dual-core processor to keep the experience smooth and an eye-pleasing design.

Sachin Tendulkar finally hits 100th international century

Tendulkar, the leading run scorer in the history of both Test and one-day cricket, achieved the most-coveted ton by taking a single off Shakib Al Hasan against Bangladesh in Asia Cup. Tendulkar's century came off 138 balls and was studded with 10 fours and a six. "I can't think of anything at this stage, it has been a tough phase for me," Tendulkar told Neo Cricket channel after his innings. "I started off the season well but was luckless. It does not matter how many hundreds you score, you still have to grind it out." "When I got the 99th century, no one spoke about it. I guess it was the media which started it. Everywhere I went people were talking about my 100th hundred," he said. He was finally out for 114, caught behind off Mashrafe bin Mortaza, who then ran over to shake his hand. The master blaster's 99th century had come against South Africa on March 12, 2011, at Nagpur during the World Cup. Friday's century was Tendulkar's 49th in one-dayers; he has 51 Test centuries. Tendulkar, who was left stranded on 99 international hundreds for a year and four days, played Test series against England, the West Indies and Australia. He also featured in the recently concluded triseries in Australia but his bid to become the first batsman to score 100 international hundreds remained unfulfilled, although he came close on a few occasions. Tendulkar has set a benchmark unlikely to be surpassed in his lifetime, with his closest rival, Ricky Ponting, on 68 international centuries and approaching the twilight of his career at the age of 37. Since his international debut at 16 against archrival Pakistan in 1989, Tendulkar has been compared to not only top batsmen of his era like Brian Lara and Inzamam-ul-Haq, but also to Australian great Donald Bradman as the best batsman ever. Bradman, who retired in 1948 with an average of 99.94 runs, said Tendulkar reminded him of his own playing style. Tendulkar has defied age and injury at every stage of his career. Whenever injuries threatened to stall his career, he pushed his body to the limit, and sometimes even beyond. Even the most threatening of all his injuries - the painful tennis elbow (in 2004) - couldn't break him. He cried out in agony, waited with hope for almost a year, tackled it with determination and ultimately conquered it like only he can.

Sony Xperia Sola

Yes, Sony seems to have been rejuvenated after their split from the Sony Ericsson partnership, and during the recently concluded Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, Spain, we saw them introduce a trio of new Xperia smartphones that run off the Android operating system. Having said that, there is yet another smartphone available for grabs this time around in the form of the Sony Xperia sola. Do not make the mistake of thinking that this is a solar-powered phone, although I am quite sure that the name might just fool some people into thinking it is so. It will be the latest addition to Sony’s portfolio of Android powered Xperia smartphones, where it comes complete with Sony technology, in addition to offering premium entertainment as well as an innovative floating touch navigation. Even better is the fact that the Xperia sola will keep up with the times, since it is also NFC enabled. The Xperia sola will feature Xperia SmartTags support, letting you alter your smartphone’s settings as well as applications to fit your lifestyle in a jiffy without having to go through button presses.
